2. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery terminal and wait at least 30 seconds.
3. Remove the air filter assembly.
4. Place a rag under the fuel filter, then disconnect the fuel lines.
5. Disconnect the plugs from the heater, water sensor and thermal switch.
6. Loosen the mounting bolts and nuts of the fuel filter bracket. Then remove the fuel filter assembly.
