Master Cylinder — Removal (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Loosen the air filter mounting bolts (B) and remove the air filter housing (A) from the bracket.



2. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A) and remove the expansion tank cap (B).



3. Using a syringe, remove the brake fluid from the expansion tank (C).

4. Disconnect the brake pipes (A) from the master cylinder. Plug the openings of the hoses with a rag or cloth.



5. Unscrew the nuts securing the master brake cylinder (B) with washers.

6. Remove the brake master cylinder (C) from the brake booster (D).
