Disposal of deployed airbag modules



Deployed airbag modules are disposed of in the same way as other waste, strictly observing the instructions below.

1. Immediately after activation, the airbag gas generators have a very high temperature, so before handling them, wait at least 30 minutes.

2. Do not allow water to come into contact with the deployed airbag.

3. The deployed airbag module may contain substances that irritate the eyes and/or skin. Therefore, wear protective gloves and goggles when handling it. If, despite these precautions, the said substances come into contact with the eyes or skin, immediately rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water. In case of irritation, seek medical attention.
