2. Raise the front wheels. Periodically turn on the starter for 15-20 s and at the same time turn the steering wheel from lock to lock 5-6 times at a frequency of 13 min⁻¹.
3. Start the engine and let it idle. Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock until all air bubbles disappear from the reservoir.
4. If the color of the fluid has not changed to milky white and the fluid level does not decrease, then the power steering mechanism is filled with fluid.
Caution! If the fluid level changes when you turn the steering wheel and increases when you stop the engine, the air has not been completely removed from the fluid. Since this may cause abnormal noise and damage to the pump, repeat the above steps.
