Comment:
- 1) While bleeding the system, refill the system with hydraulic fluid so that the level never falls below the bottom position of the filter.
- 2) If bleeding is carried out while the engine is idling, the air will be absorbed by the working fluid; therefore, bleed the system only when turning the crankshaft with the handle.
2. Connect the high voltage conductor and then start the engine (idling).
3. Turning a steering wheel to the left and then to the right, achieve the termination of allocation of vials of air from an oil tank.
Warning. Do not hold the steering wheel turned to either side for more than 10 seconds.
4. Make sure that the working fluid is not contaminated and that its level is correct.
5. Check that there are only slight changes in the fluid surface when the steering wheel is turned left or right.
Warning:
- 1) If the surface of the working fluid turns out to be greatly changed, the operation of pumping the system should be repeated again.
- 2) If the fluid level rises sharply when the engine is stopped, this indicates that there is still air in the system.
- 3) If there is air in the system, the pump makes a ringing sound and the control valve makes an unusual sound. Air trapped in the system shortens the life of the pump and other parts.
