Comment:
- 1) While bleeding the system, refill the system with working fluid so that its level never falls below the lower position of the filter.
- 2) If air is removed while the engine is idling, the air will be absorbed by the working fluid; therefore, bleed the system only by turning the crankshaft with the handle.
2. Connect the high voltage wire and then start the engine (idle).
3. Turn the steering wheel left and then right until air bubbles stop coming out of the oil tank.
Warning: Do not keep the steering wheel turned to one side or the other for more than 10 seconds.
4. Make sure that the working fluid is not contaminated and that its level is normal.
5. Make sure that there are only slight changes in the surface of the working fluid when turning the steering wheel left or right.
Warning:
- 1) If the surface of the working fluid is significantly changed, the system bleeding operation should be repeated again.
- 2) If the working fluid level rises sharply when the engine is stopped, this indicates that there is still air left in the system.
- 3) If there is air in the system, the pump will make a ringing noise and the control valve will make an unusual sound. Air in the system will shorten the life of the pump and other parts.
