Loosen the locknut securing the automatic transmission control cable to the manual control lever (manual control lever) (pic. 3.73).
Set the manual control lever to the position «N» (neutral position).

Loosen the starter override switch mounting bolts and rotate the switch housing so that the 12mm hole at the end of the hand lever aligns with the 12mm hole in the switch housing flange (pic. 3.74).
Tighten the switch mounting bolts to the specified tightening torque without changing the position of the switch.
The moment of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of the switch of blocking of a starter: 10–12 Н·м.
Note. Be careful when adjusting the position of the starter interlock switch, do not drop the o-ring (O-ring) from the switch housing. Carefully tighten the switch mounting bolts.
Check that the automatic transmission selector lever is in position «N» (neutral position).

Adjust the tension of the automatic transmission control cable with the collar nut so that the cable is slightly taut, then check the smooth movement of the automatic transmission selector lever (pic. 3.75).
Carry out a road test and verify that the shift ranges correspond to each position of the automatic transmission selector lever and verify that the transmission operates normally in each of the ranges.
