Loosen the locknut.
Repeat the operations of tightening the adjusting screw to a torque of 5 Nm and then loosening it twice.
After this, tighten the adjusting screw to a tightening torque of 5 N·m, then loosen the adjusting screw within 3–3⅓ turns.

Tighten the lock nut to the specified torque (Fig. 3.76).
Tightening torque of the lock nut: 15–22 N·m.
Note: Apply DC780 sealant to the center of the adjusting screw threads before assembly.
