Withdrawal
1. Remove the battery.
2. Disconnect the air filter.
3. Disconnect the wire connectors to the reversing lights and engine compartment wiring.
4. Disconnect the alternator harness and oil pressure sensor assembly.
5. Drain the engine coolant.
6. On an automatic transmission vehicle, disconnect the transmission oil cooling hoses.
Note. When disconnecting hoses, mark them with identification marks to avoid mistakes during reconnection.
Warning. Do not spill oil or liquid from the hoses and cover the openings to prevent foreign objects from entering.
7. Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses from the engine side and remove the radiator.
8. Disconnect the high voltage wire and all wires going to the ignition distributor from the ignition coil.
9. Disconnect the motor ground.
10. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster.
11. Disconnect the fuel line and the return and evaporation hoses from the engine.
12. Disconnect heater hoses (input and output) from the side of the engine.
13. Disconnect the throttle cable from the engine side.
14. On a vehicle with an automatic transmission, disconnect the control cable from the transmission.
15. Disconnect the speedometer flexible shaft from the gearbox.
16. Disconnect the air conditioning compressor from the bracket.
17. Remove the exhaust pipe cover.
18. Remove the power steering oil pump from the bracket.
19. Raise the car.
20. Remove the crankcase screen.
21. Drain the oil (liquid) from the gearbox.
22. Disconnect the front exhaust pipe from the manifold.
Note. Use a wire to hang the exhaust pipe from the bottom of the car.
23. Turn away bolts of a spherical support of the lower arm and the stabilizer of cross-section stability in the place of its fastening to the lower arm.
24. Disconnect half shafts from a transmission.
Warning:
- 1. Close the gearbox openings to prevent foreign objects from entering.
- 2. Collars of semiaxes need to be replaced at each disassembly.
25. Suspend the lower arm and axle shafts to the body.
26. Attach a cable to the engine and, using a hoist, lift the engine.
27. Remove the front stopper.
28. Disconnect the rear stopper.
29. Turn away bolts of fastening of the engine.
30. Remove the mounting bracket from the engine.
31. Using a hoist, slowly lift the engine and gearbox (to the point where they stop pressing on the support nodes) and temporarily leave them hanging.
Warning. Make sure all cables, hoses and electrical wiring and connectors are disconnected from the engine.
32. Remove the plugs from inside the right mudguard and unscrew the gearbox bracket bolts.
33. Turn away a bolt of the left damper.
After lowering the transmission, lift the engine and transmission out of the vehicle.
