Removal
1. Remove the battery.
2. Disconnect the air filter.
3. Disconnect the wire connectors to the reversing lights and the engine compartment wiring.

4. Disconnect the alternator and oil pressure sensor assembly wiring connectors.
5. Drain the engine coolant.
6. On vehicles with automatic transmission, disconnect the transmission oil cooling hoses.
Note: When disconnecting hoses, mark them with identification marks to avoid mistakes when connecting them later.
Warning: Do not spill oil or liquid from the hoses and cover the openings to prevent foreign objects from entering.

7. Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses from the engine side and remove the radiator.
8. Disconnect the high tension wire and all wires going to the ignition distributor from the ignition coil.
9. Disconnect the engine ground.
10. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster.
11. Disconnect the fuel line, return and evaporative hoses from the engine.
12. Disconnect the heater hoses (inlet and outlet) from the engine side.
13. Disconnect the throttle cable from the engine side.
14. On a vehicle with an automatic transmission, disconnect the control cable from the transmission.
15. Disconnect the speedometer flexible shaft from the gearbox.
16. Disconnect the air conditioning compressor from the bracket.

17. Remove the exhaust pipe cover.
18. Remove the power steering oil pump from the bracket.
19. Raise the car.
20. Remove the crankcase screen.
21. Drain the oil (fluid) from the gearbox.
22. Disconnect the front exhaust pipe from the manifold.
Note: Use wire to hang the exhaust pipe from the bottom of the car.
23. Unscrew the bolts of the ball joint of the lower arm and the anti-roll bar at the point where it is attached to the lower arm.
24. Disconnect the axle shafts from the gearbox.
Warning:
- 1. Cover the gearbox openings to prevent foreign objects from entering.
- 2. The axle shaft clamps must be replaced at each disassembly.
25. Hang the lower arm and axle shafts to the body.

26. Attach the cable to the engine and use a hoist to lift the engine.
27. Remove the front stopper.
28. Disconnect the rear stopper.
29. Loosen the engine mounting bolts.
30. Remove the mounting bracket from the engine.

31. Using a hoist, slowly lift the engine and gearbox (to the point where they no longer press on the support units) and temporarily leave them suspended.
Warning: Make sure all cables, hoses, electrical wiring and connectors are disconnected from the engine.
32. Remove the plugs from inside the right mudguard and unscrew the gearbox bracket bolts.
33. Unscrew the bolt of the left damper.
With the transmission lowered, lift the engine and transmission out of the vehicle.
