Adjusting the tension of the toothed belt «B» (Hyundai Sonata Y3)

1. Press the toothed belt tensioner "B" with your hand in the direction of the arrow to create pressure on the toothed belt so that its working branch is taut. Now tighten the bolt to secure the tensioner.

Warning: When tightening the bolt, make sure that the tensioner roller does not rotate with the bolt. Rotating it with the bolt will cause excessive belt tension.

2. Press the center of timing belt "B" with your finger to ensure that its tension is at the normal level.
