Engine Mounts — Removal and Installation (Hyundai Getz 1)

Removal

Attach the lifting gear clamps to the engine lugs and lift so that the engine weight is supported by the lifting gear.







1. Unscrew the bolts securing the engine roller support bracket to the engine cross frame (bolt and nut 14 mm, bolt 17 mm).



2. Remove the engine mounts from the engine.

• 1) Disconnect the engine mount bracket from the engine (14mm, 17mm bolts).
• 2) Remove the engine roller support bracket (14 mm bolt).

3. Remove the gearbox bracket.

• 1) Unscrew the bolts and remove the air filter housing.
• 2) Unscrew the bolt securing the gearbox support bracket to the engine cross frame (14 mm).
• 3) Unscrew the gearbox mounting bolt (17 mm).
• 4) Remove the plugs from the inside of the right wing and unscrew the gearbox support bracket mounting bolts.

• 5) Remove the gearbox support bracket.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
