Make sure that there are no traces of contact between the hoses and vehicle parts.
Filling the power steering hydraulic system with working fluid
Fill the reservoir of the power steering hydraulic system with the recommended fluid up to the mark «MAX» on the wall of the tank.
Jack up the front wheels of the vehicle. Disconnect the high voltage wires from the ignition coils. Scroll the engine crankshaft with a few short starts of the starter (about 5-6 inclusions) with constant turns of the steering wheel to the left and right to the stop five or six times within 15–20 s.
Connect the high voltage wires to the ignition coils, then start the engine and let it idle. Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock until the air bubbles in the reservoir of the booster hydraulic system disappear.
Make sure that the working fluid is clear, not cloudy, and its level in the tank is near the mark «MAX» on the wall of the tank.
Attention! If the fluid level changes significantly when the steering wheel is turned or rises sharply after the engine is stopped, then the air from the hydraulic system is not completely removed. Incomplete removal of air from the booster hydraulic system will cause extraneous noise and shorten the life of the pump and other components of the booster hydraulic system.
