Caution! When draining the coolant, make sure that the relay box cover in the engine compartment is securely closed and prevent coolant from coming into contact with electrical components and the paintwork of the body. Otherwise, rinse off the coolant with plenty of water.
1. Set the temperature control knob to the position corresponding to the maximum temperature of the air supplied to the passenger compartment. Make sure the engine and radiator are cold.
2. Remove the radiator cap.
3. Loosen the drain plug and drain the coolant into a suitable container.
4. Tighten the radiator drain plug securely.

5. Remove the expansion tank, drain the coolant from it and install the tank in place. Fill the tank with distilled water to a level between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks, then antifreeze to the "MAX" mark.
6. Fill the radiator with coolant up to the bottom edge of the filler neck and install the radiator cap without tightening it completely.
7. Start the engine and warm it up until the radiator fan comes on at least twice.
8. Turn off the engine. Check and, if necessary, top up the radiator fluid to the required level.
9. Tighten the radiator cap, then start the engine and check for leaks.
