Removal



1. Remove the clutch hub and air conditioner compressor pulley.

2. Install the safety tool on the open hole of the compressor shaft.

3. Install the pulley on the compressor shaft. Install the puller on the compressor as shown in the figure. Insert the tip of the pressure screw into the recess of the compressor shaft safety tool and tighten the puller screw.

4. Using a wrench to tighten the puller screw, remove the coil from the front of the compressor.

Warning! Do not use pneumatic tools.

Installation



1. Clean the coil seating surface.

2. Place the compressor vertically with the shaft facing up and install the clutch excitation coil on the front of the compressor. Make sure the electrical connector of the coil is positioned correctly.

3. Install the safety tool on the open hole of the compressor shaft.

4. Install the two 8-inch grippers on the compressor and press-in device. The gripper legs must be placed behind the front seat of the compressor, and the bolt must be located in the center of the press-in device.

5. Tighten the tool screw with a wrench until the coil is installed in place.
