Removal
1. Remove the receiver to smooth out the pulsation of the incoming air.
2. Release excess pressure from the fuel line to prevent fuel splashing.
Warning: Cover the fuel line connections with a rag in case of fuel leakage.
3. Remove the distribution line with injectors.
Examination
1. Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance of the injector between the terminals.
- Resistance - 13-16 Ohm (at 20°C)
2. If the resistance is not as required, replace the injector.
Installation
1. Install a new insulator into the intake manifold.
2. Install the new bushing and ring onto the injector.
3. Coat the ring with solvent, spindle oil or gasoline.
4. Turn the nozzle left and right to install it into the distribution pipe.
5. Make sure it turns without sticking.
Note: If the nozzle does not turn without sticking, the ring may be crushed. In this case, remove the nozzle, reinstall it and recheck.

6. Lubricate the part of the high pressure pipe shown in the figure with gasoline before installing it.
When installing, be careful not to damage the sealing ring and tighten it carefully.
Warning: Since the fuel between the fuel pump and the fuel rail is under high pressure, make sure there are no fuel leaks.

7. Check for fuel leaks as follows:
- 1) Apply voltage to the fuel pump drive terminal that branches off from the wiring harness at the top of the heat-insulating pad.
- 2) Check for fuel leaks from the system, particularly from the high pressure line connection and the fuel line.
