Withdrawal
1. Remove the receiver to smooth out the pulsation of the incoming air.
2. Relieve excess pressure from the fuel line to prevent fuel splashing.
Warning. Cover the fuel line connectors with rags in case of a fuel leak.
3. Remove a distributive highway with atomizers.
Examination
1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the injector between the terminals.
- Resistance - 13-16 Ohm (at 20°C)
2. If the resistance is not as required, replace the nozzle.
Installation
1. Install a new insulator in the intake manifold.
2. Install a new bushing and ring on the injector.
3. Coat the ring with thinner, spindle oil or gasoline.
4. Turning the nozzle left and right, install it in the distribution pipe.
5. Make sure it turns without binding.
Note. If the nozzle does not turn without binding, the ring may be bent. In this case, remove the nozzle, reinstall and recheck.
6. Lubricate the part of the high pressure pipe shown in the figure with gasoline before installing it.
When installing, be careful not to damage the O-ring and tighten carefully.
Warning. Since the fuel between the fuel pump and the distribution line is under high pressure, check that there are no fuel leaks here.
7. Check for fuel leaks as follows:
- 1) Apply voltage to the fuel pump drive terminal that branches from the electrical wiring at the top of the heat shield.
- 2) Check for fuel leaks from the system, in particular from the connection of the high pressure pipe and the fuel line.
