Removal
1. Remove the bushing and inner cable from the accelerator lever side.
2. Pull the accelerator pedal towards you and remove it from the accelerator lever.
3. Loosen the accelerator lever bracket bolts and remove it.
Examination
1. Check: Whether the inner and outer cables are damaged.
2. Smooth movement of the cable.
3. Is the accelerator lever deformed?.
4. Is there any damage to the return spring?.
5. Connecting the sleeve to the end metal fitting.
6. Correct operation of the accelerator pedal.
Installation
1. When installing the return spring and throttle lever, apply multi-purpose grease to each moving point of the throttle lever.
2. Inject sealing agent into the bolt installation hole and tighten the accelerator lever bracket.
- The tightening torque for the accelerator lever bracket is 8-12 Nm.
3. Carefully install the rubber bushing of the accelerator cable onto the end of the accelerator lever.
4. Apply general purpose grease to the end of the cable.
