Removal
Warning:
- 1. The throttle valve cannot be removed from the housing.
- 2. If the Phillips screws are too tight, use only a special screwdriver for these screws.
1. Remove the throttle position sensor by removing the Phillips screws.
Note: The throttle position sensor must not be removed unless it is being replaced.

2. Remove the idle speed control stepper motor.
Notes:
- 1) The idle speed control motor must not be removed unless it is being replaced.
- 2) The idle speed control motor must not be disassembled.
Examination
Cleaning the body components
1. Clean all components. The following components should not be cleaned by immersion in solvents:
- Throttle position sensor;
- Idle speed control motor.
The insulation of these components may be damaged if they are immersed in solvent. They should only be cleaned with a piece of cloth.
