General information
When the power transistor switches to the "ON" position by the signal from the engine control unit, current (12 V) will be supplied to the primary winding of the ignition coil. When the power transistor switches to the "OFF" position, the current in the primary winding circuit will be interrupted and a high voltage will be induced in the secondary winding.
