2. Disconnect the wires from the ignition coil.
3. Unscrew the ignition coil mounting bolts and remove it from the vehicle.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Checking the ignition coil
1. Measure the resistance of the primary winding between contacts 1 and 2 of the connector.
2. Measure the resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil between the high-voltage terminals of cylinders 1 and 4 and the high-voltage terminals of cylinders 2 and 3.
Resistance: 13.00 kOhm ±15%
Caution: When measuring the resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil, make sure to disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil.
