Adjusting the pressure drop (Hyundai Getz 1)

0

Without diagnostic tool "Scan"

1. Remove the parts up to the oil filter, as when adjusting the pressure in the line, but it is not necessary to remove the valve block.

2. Use the adjusting screw at the bottom of the valve block to set the required value of the reducing pressure.

When the adjusting screw is turned clockwise, the pressure decreases, and when turned counterclockwise, it increases.

Note: When adjusting the reducing pressure, set the average pressure value to 425 kPa.

  • Nominal value: 420 kPa
  • Oil pressure change per each turn of the adjusting screw: 22 kPa

3. Install the oil filter and oil pan.

4. Check the pressure level and adjust it if necessary.
