1. Power switch, volume control knob; 2. Bass tone control knob / Left/right stereo balance control knob; 3. Treble tone control knob / Front/rear stereo balance control knob; 4. Frequency setting button; 5. Station memory buttons; 6. Range selection button; 7. Tone correction button; 8. Button for storing stations with the strongest signal or Button for automatic tuning of received stations (additional equipment).
1. Power switch. The radio operates when the ignition key is in the "ON" or "ACC" position. Press the button to turn on the power. In the radio reception mode, the LCD display will show the frequency of the radio station being received, in the cassette playback mode, the tape direction indicator will be shown, and in the CD playback or CD changer mode, the recording ("track") indicator will be shown. To turn off the radio power, press the button again.
Volume control knob. To increase the volume, rotate the knob clockwise, and to decrease the volume, rotate it counterclockwise.
2. BASS/BALANCE (Low frequency tone control knob / Left/right stereo balance control knob).
BASS (Tone control knob for low sound frequencies). Press the handle to push it outwards. To increase the timbre in the low sound area, turn the knob clockwise, and to decrease the timbre in the low sound area, turn the knob counterclockwise.
BALANCE (Left/Right Stereo Balance Adjustment Knob) Pull the outward knob to the following fixed position. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the volume of the right speaker. (The volume of the left speaker will decrease). Turn the knob counterclockwise to increase the volume of the left speaker. (The volume of the right speaker will decrease).
3. TREBLE/FAD Knob (High frequency tone control knob / Front/rear stereo balance control knob).
TREBLE Control Knob (Treble tone control knob) Press the knob to push it outwards, and turn it left or right to set the desired timbre in the treble area.
FAD (Fader Control) Knob (Front/Rear Stereo Balance Adjustment Knob) Pull the outward knob to the following fixed position. Turn the knob counterclockwise to increase the volume of the front speakers. (The volume of the rear speakers will decrease). Turn the knob clockwise to increase the volume of the rear speakers. (The volume of the front speakers will decrease).
4. TUNE (Manual frequency tuning button). Press the △ or ▽ sides of this button to increase or decrease the frequency. To continue searching, press and hold one side of the button until you reach the desired frequency.
Automatic frequency tuning. Press and hold the TUNE button for 0.5 seconds or longer, when you release it, the receiver will automatically tune to the next available station, which is accompanied by a beep. When you press the △ side of the button for 0.5 seconds or longer and release it, the radio will automatically tune to the next station with a higher broadcast frequency, and when you press the ▽ side of the button for 0.5 seconds or longer and release it, the radio will automatically tune to the next station with a lower broadcast frequency.
5. Station memory buttons. You can store six (6) stations in each of the AM, FM1 and FM2 bands into the memory of this radio.
Storing station frequencies
You can store 6 AM stations and 12 FM stations in the audio system's memory. You can then select one of these stations by simply pressing the band selection button and/or one of the six station memory buttons. To store these stations, follow these steps:
- Press the band selection button to select one of the AM, FM1 or FM2 bands.
- Select the station you want to store in memory using manual or automatic tuning.
- Select the station memory button to which you want to assign this station,
- Press and hold this station memory button for two seconds or more. The display will show the indicator with the number of the station memory button you have selected. After the frequency is stored in memory, its value will flash on the display. You must release the button and you can continue storing other stations. You can program a total of 18 stations, assigning one AM and two FM broadcast stations to one button.
- After completing the programming of stations after selecting any of the AM, FM1 or FM2 ranges, you can turn on any of them by pressing the corresponding station frequency memory button.
6. FM/AM (Band selection button). Pressing the [FM/AM] button switches between AM, FM1 and FM2 bands. The selected band is displayed on the LCD display.
7. EQ (Tone correction button). To obtain the desired sound quality, press this button to select CLASSIC, JAZZ, ROCK and DEFEAT mode.
8. BSM (Strongest Station Memory Button) (Optional) When this button is pressed and held for two seconds or more, the six strongest stations are selected and stored in memory. The selected stations are arranged in ascending order of broadcast frequency, starting with the first station memory button.
SCAN (Automatic tuning button for receiving stations) (optional equipment) When you press this button, the frequency will increase and the receiver will tune in to the received stations one by one for 5 seconds. To stop, press this button again.
