1. Button for selecting the cassette listening mode and changing the direction of tape movement. When a cassette is in the slot, press this button to listen to it. In the cassette listening mode, pressing this button changes the direction of the tape.
2. Cassette slot. Insert the cassette into the slot with the tape side facing to the right. The radio will automatically pick up the cassette and start playing even if the power to the radio has been turned off and the ignition key is in the "ON" ("On") or "ACC" ("Optional equipment").
3. Cassette eject button (▲). Press this button to eject the cassette. The cassette can be removed even when the ignition key is in the SQFF position ("Off").
4. Liquid crystal display. The status of the cassette you are listening to is displayed on the liquid crystal display. It informs the driver about cassette playback, tape direction, fast forward and rewind, MTL metallized film, and noise reduction operation "Dolby".
5. DOLBY Button (Noise canceling button "Dolby"). When listening to a recording recorded with noise reduction "Dolby" press this button to suppress extraneous noise. The icon will then appear on the display (). When you click this button again, the icon () will disappear.
6. Button to go to the beginning of the recording (|◄◄).
To search for the beginning of each song recorded on a tape, press this button. The indicator will flash on the display "REW". To stop rewinding, press this button again and the recording will start playing.
7. Tape rewind button (◄◄). Fast forwarding the tape to the beginning starts when you press the ◄◄ button, the indicator appears on the display ("REW"). When you press the ◄◄ button again while fast rewinding the tape (REW) audio playback will start.
8. Button to go to the end of the record (►►|). To fast-forward to the end of a song and search for the beginning of each song on the tape, press this button. The indicator will flash on the display "FF". To stop rewinding, press this button again and the recording will start playing.
9. Tape fast forward button (►►). The tape will fast-forward to the end when the ►► button is pressed, the indicator will appear on the display ("FF’). If you press the ►► button again while fast-forwarding the tape (FF) audio playback will start.
