Power switch.



The radio operates when the ignition key is in the "ON" or "ACC" position. Press the button to turn on the power. In the radio reception mode, the LCD display shows the frequency of the received radio station, in the cassette playback mode - the tape direction indicator, and in the CD playback mode - the recording ("track") indicator. To turn off the radio, press the button again.

Volume control knob.



To increase the volume, rotate the knob clockwise, and to decrease the volume, rotate it counterclockwise.

BASS/BALANCE (low frequency tone control knob/left/right stereo balance control knob).



BASS (low frequency tone control knob).

Press the knob to extend it outward. To increase the tone in the bass region, rotate the knob clockwise, and to decrease the tone in the bass region, rotate the knob counterclockwise.

BALANCE (left/right stereo balance adjustment knob).



Pull the outwardly extended knob to the following fixed position. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the volume of the right speaker (the volume of the left speaker decreases). Turn the knob counterclockwise to increase the volume of the left speaker (the volume of the right speaker decreases).

TREBLE/ FAD Knob (high frequency tone control knob/front/rear stereo balance control knob).



TREBLE Control Knob (tone control knob for high frequencies).

Press the knob to extend it outward and turn it left or right to set the desired tone in the high frequency range.



FAD (Fader Control) Knob (front/rear stereo balance adjustment knob).



Pull the outwardly extended knob to the following fixed position. Turn the knob counterclockwise to increase the volume of the front speakers (rear speakers decrease). Turn the knob clockwise to increase the volume of the rear speakers (front speakers decrease).

TUNE (manual frequency tuning button).



Press on the sides or this button to increase or decrease the frequency. To continue searching, press and hold either side of the button until you reach the desired frequency.

Automatic frequency tuning.



Press and hold the TUNE button for 0.5 seconds or longer, when you release it, the receiver will automatically tune to the next possible station, which is accompanied by a beep. When you press the side button for 0.5 sec or longer and when it is released the radio will automatically tune to the next station with a higher broadcast frequency, and when you press the side button for 0.5 sec or longer and when you release it, the radio will automatically tune to the next station with a lower broadcast frequency.




Station memory buttons.



You can store 6 stations in each of the AM, FM1 and FM2 ranges in the memory of this radio.

Storing station frequencies



The audio system can store 6 AM stations and 12 FM stations in its memory. After that, you can select one of them by pressing the band selection button and one of the six station memory buttons. To store these stations in memory, do the following:
  • press the band selection button to select one of the AM, FM1 or FM2 bands.
  • select the station you want to store in memory using manual or automatic tuning;
  • select the station memory button to which you want to assign this station;
  • press and hold this station memory button for two seconds or more. The display will show an indicator with the number of the selected station memory button. Once the frequency is stored in memory, its value will flash on the display. Release the button and continue storing the next desired station.

A total of 18 stations can be programmed, assigning one AM station and two FM stations to one button.

Once programming is complete, turn on any of the programmed stations by selecting one of the AM, FM1 or FM2 ranges and pressing the corresponding station frequency memory button.

FM/AM (band selection button).



Pressing this button switches between AM, FM1 and FM2 bands. The selected band is displayed on the LCD display.

EQ (tone correction button).

A button for storing the best sounding stations.



If you press this button and hold it for two or more seconds, the 6 stations with the most intense radio signal will be automatically memorized. The stations are memorized in order, as the frequency increases.

Fast forward/rewind buttons for the tape.



Fast forwarding of the tape ("FF") starts when the button is pressed while playing a recording ("PLAY") or fast rewinding the tape ("REW").

When you press the button again during fast forward ("FF") of the tape, the audio recording will begin to play.

Fast rewinding of the tape ("REW") starts when the button is pressed during audio playback ("PLAY") or fast forwarding of the tape ("FF").

When you press the button again during fast rewinding of the tape ("REW"), the audio recording will begin to play.




Buttons to go to the beginning of the recording.



To search for the beginning of each song recorded on the tape, press this button. The distance between recordings must be at least 4 seconds for this function to work.

When you press the button the transition to the beginning of the next record will occur.

When you press the button will jump to the beginning of the current record.

TARE PROGRAM Button (button for changing the direction of tape movement).



Pressing this button changes the direction of the tape. The tape direction indicator will appear.

EJECT Button (cassette eject button).



Pressing the button ejects the cassette if it is inside the radio.

Pressing the button while fast-forwarding/rewinding the tape ejects the cassette.



EQ Button (tone correction button).

DOLBY Button (Dolby noise reduction system button).



If you hear constant noise in the background during playback, you can suppress it by simply pressing this button.

If you need to disable this function, press the button again.
