Install bearing cap No.1 so that the notches on the ends of the rocker arm shafts are directed as shown in the figure, and tighten the bolts.

  • 1. Since bearing caps No.1 and No.2 look the same, check the numbers stamped on them.
  • 2. Make sure that the oil grooves are facing downward as shown in the figure and the oil holes are on the rocker arm shaft side (A).
  • 3. Since bearing caps No.2 and No.3 look the same, check the numbers stamped on them. Then attach the caps.
  • 4. Apply oil to the inner surface of the rocker arm holes and secure the rocker arm shafts.
