Examination
Rocker arms
1. Inspect the surface of the rocker arm roller. If there are dents, damage, or sticking due to overheating, replace the rocker arm.
2. Check the ease of rotation of the roller. If there is play or if the rotation is uneven, replace it.
3. Check the inside diameter of the hole. If there is damage or scoring, replace the rocker arm.

Rocker shafts
1. Check the sections of the shafts where the rocker arms are located for wear and damage. Replace them if necessary.
2. Check if the oil supply holes are clogged.
Installation
Install bearing cap No.1 so that the notches on the ends of the rocker arm shafts are directed as shown in the figure, and tighten the bolts.

Comment:
- 1. Since bearing caps No.1 and No.2 look the same, check the numbers stamped on them.
- 2. Make sure that the oil grooves are facing downward as shown in the figure and the oil holes are on the rocker arm shaft side (A).
- 3. Since bearing caps No.2 and No.3 look the same, check the numbers stamped on them. Then attach the caps.
- 4. Apply oil to the inner surface of the rocker arm holes and secure the rocker arm shafts.

- Tightening torque: Rocker arm and shaft mounting bolt - 19-21 Nm.
