Relay test (type A)
Check for continuity between relay terminals.
1. When applying voltage from the battery terminals to contacts 1 and 4 of the relay, there must be conductivity between contacts 2 and 3.
2. When power is removed from relay pins 1 and 4, there should be no conduction between pins 2 and 3.
Relay test (type B)
Check for continuity between relay terminals.
1. When voltage is applied from the battery terminals to contacts 1 and 2 of the relay, there must be continuity between contacts 4 and 3.
2. When power is removed from relay pins 1 and 2, there should be no conduction between pins 4 and 3.
Relay test (type C)
Check for continuity between relay terminals.
1. When applying voltage from the battery terminals to contacts 3 and 5 of the relay, there must be conductivity between contacts 1 and 2.
2. When power is removed from relay pins 3 and 5, there must be continuity between pins 1 and 4.
