Electronic control unit for the passive safety system
The control unit issues a signal to undermine the airbags in a frontal collision based on the signal from the acceleration sensor.
DC converter
The power converter has voltage boost and step-down blocks that provide the required power to the firing circuits and the internal operating voltage. When the operating voltage drops below a certain value, it is restored.
Executive sensor / safety sensor
The sensor is built into the cushion detonation circuit and is designed to bring the system into operation when detonation conditions occur. Under normal circumstances, the system is kept idle. Safety sensor two-contact, electromechanical triggered at a certain level of acceleration (slowdown) car.
Residual nutrition
The SRS electronic control unit stores enough electricity to detonate the airbag for some time after the main power is cut off in a collision.
Electronic diagnostic unit SRS
The unit constantly monitors the status of the SRS when the ignition is on and detects the occurrence of system malfunctions. DTCs can be read by the HI-SCAN tester (Pro).
Malfunction indicator lamp
If a malfunction occurs, the control unit lights up a warning lamp to inform the driver about a malfunction in the system. After turning on the ignition, six flashes of the lamp indicate the normal state of the system.
Writing codes
If a malfunction occurs, the control unit stores the corresponding code in the memory. The code is read and deleted by the HI-SCAN tester (Pro).
Data Readout Connector (diagnostic socket)
The connector is located under the front panel on the driver's side and is designed to connect external devices, such as a HI-SCAN tester (Pro).
Attention! Once the airbag has deployed, the SRS ECU cannot be reused. Install a new block.
