1. Check that the coolant level in the expansion tank is between the "FULL" and "LOW" marks on the tank wall when the engine is not warmed up. If the coolant level is low, check for leaks and add coolant so that its level is between the "FULL" and "LOW" marks.

Note:
  • Since the cooling system is closed, the normal loss of coolant is small. A noticeable decrease in coolant level may indicate the presence of leaks.
