1. Disconnect the pressure hose from the power steering pump. Connect the special tool between the pressure hose and the power steering pump as shown in the figure.

2. Remove air from the power steering system. Then start the engine and, with the vehicle stationary, turn the steering wheel several times until the fluid temperature rises to approximately 50-60°C.

3. Set the engine operating mode to 1000 rpm.

4. Completely close the shut-off valve on the measuring pressure gauge, measure the pressure of the power steering pump working fluid and check its compliance with the nominal value.
  • Nominal value: 80 kg/cm²

Caution: The shut-off valve on the pressure gauge should not be left closed for more than 10 seconds.


5. Disconnect the special tool, connect the delivery hose and tighten the hose fasteners.
  • Tightening torque: 55-65 Nm
