Output signal shape from the main sensors

The output signal shapes from the main fuel system sensors are given. These include: CMP (camshaft position sensor), CKP (crankshaft position sensor), mass air flow sensor, throttle position sensor, rear oxygen sensor, front oxygen sensor, control pulse during rapid engine acceleration to 4800 min⁻¹ without load of a sufficiently warmed up engine. The output signal picture is for reference only, the true values of the signal values, as a rule, have other meanings.

Mass Air Flow (MAF) and Throttle Position Sensors (TPS)

When the accelerator pedal is pressed, the output signal of the mass air flow (MAF) sensor should increase and, conversely, should decrease when the accelerator pedal is fully released.

The throttle position sensor (TPS) signal should increase when the accelerator pedal is depressed and decrease when the pedal is released.

Front (FR) and rear (RR) oxygen sensors

The signals from both oxygen sensors may increase immediately after pressing the accelerator pedal and may decrease when the pedal is released.

Fuel injection pulse

The impulse increases when the accelerator pedal is pressed and decreases when it is released.
