This system is designed to prevent unauthorized entry into the car. This system has three states: the first is "Ready", the second is "Alarm" and the third state is "Disabled". When the anti-theft system is triggered, the sound alarm (siren) is turned on and the direction indicators begin to flash.

State of readiness

State of readiness

Park the vehicle and turn off the engine. Prepare the system as follows.
  • 1) Remove the key from the ignition switch.
  • 2) Make sure the hood and tailgate are locked.
  • 3) Lock the doors using the remote control door lock transmitter.

After completing the above steps, the direction indicators will flash once, indicating that the system is in the ready state.

Note:
  • 1) If any of the doors, tailgate or hood are open, the system will not be armed.
  • 2) If this happens, take the system out of the ready state as follows.

Caution: Do not arm the system until all passengers have left the vehicle. When there are passengers in the vehicle, the audible alarm (siren) may sound when the passenger leaves the vehicle.

Alarm status

The alarm is triggered when the vehicle is parked and the system is in the prepared state in one of the following cases.
  • 1) Opens the front or rear door without using the transmitter.
  • 2) The rear (fifth) door opens without using the transmitter.
  • 3) The hood opens.

In these cases, the audible alarm (siren) will sound and the direction indicators will flash continuously for 27 seconds. (Only for EU countries / Non-EU countries: this can happen 3 times). To switch off the system, unlock the side doors or the rear door using the transmitter.

Disconnection state

Disconnection state

The system will be disabled when the driver or passenger door is unlocked by pressing the button on the transmitter.

After this, the direction indicators will flash twice, indicating that the system is deactivated.

Note: After the system is disabled, it can only be brought into the ready state by performing the above operations to bring the anti-theft system into the ready state.

Warning: The system can only be deactivated using the transmitter. If the transmitter does not work when the anti-theft system is in the ready state, the following measures must be taken:
  • 1. Open the door with the key. In this case, the sound alarm (siren) will sound.
  • 2. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "ON" position.
  • 3. Wait 30 seconds.
  • After this, the system will be disabled.
