Disassembly
1. Loosen the bracket mounting bolts and remove the bracket assembly.
2. Loosen the bolt and remove the shoe together with the brake lining.
3. Remove the piston cuff.
4. Remove the piston assembly using a special tool by unscrewing the piston from the caliper housing.
5. Use your finger to remove the piston seal.
Warning: To prevent damage to the inside of the cylinder, do not use sharp tools.
Assembly
1. Check the cylinder walls and piston for damage or corrosion.
2. Check the piston seals, cuff and shock absorbers for damage.
3. Apply the recommended lubricant to the following parts:

4. Push the piston into the bracket using a special tool (09580-34000).
5. Install the piston so that the mark is facing upward.
