Removing air conditioning system pipes.
1 - evaporator and heater unit assembly, 2 - drain hose, 3 - expansion valve, 4 - expansion valve mounting bolt "A", 5 - expansion valve mounting bolt "B", 6 - inlet hose, 7 - high-pressure pipe, 8 - outlet hose, 9 - inlet and outlet hose mounting clamp. 10 - receiver-dryer assembly, 11 - triple pressure switch, 12 - condenser assembly, 13 - high-pressure pipe "A", 14 - nut, 15 - compressor mounting bolt, 16 - compressor assembly, 17 - compressor mounting bracket.
Removal and installation
1. Pump the refrigerant out of the air conditioning system.
2. Remove and install the pipelines using the assembly drawing "Removing the air conditioning system pipelines".
3. Evacuate the system and charge the system with refrigerant.
- The amount of refrigerant in the air conditioning system: 680±25 g.
4. Check the system for refrigerant leaks using a leak detector. Eliminate any detected faults (leaks).
5. Perform an air conditioner efficiency test.
