Preparing a refrigerant cylinder for the system filling procedure (Hyundai Sonata EF)

1. Before installing the tap on the cylinder, turn its handle counterclockwise until it stops.

2. Set the tap lock nut to the upper position by turning it counterclockwise.

3. Connect the hose of the central fitting of the measuring manifold to the fitting of the tap. Fully open the filling valve and insert it into the filling cylinder. Turn the lock nut of the tap clockwise by hand until it stops.

4. Turn the tap handle clockwise and push a hole in the seal on the top of the cylinder.

5. Turn the valve handle counterclockwise until it stops to fill the hose of the central fitting of the measuring manifold with air. Do not open the valves of the high and low pressure fittings.

6. Loosen the nut securing the central fitting hose to the fitting on the measuring manifold.

7. Blow through the hose for a few seconds to remove air, then tighten the hose nut.
