Disconnect the cable from the negative (–) battery terminal. Disconnect the radiator fan connector and the air conditioner condenser fan connector (Fig. 7.14).

Unscrew the radiator support mounting bolts (Fig. 7.15).

Loosen the adjusting bolt on the generator adjusting bar and remove the lock bolt (Fig. 7.16).
Then lift the car.

Disconnect the generator connector and the wire from the generator terminal "B" (Fig. 7.17).

Remove the generator drive belt. Unscrew the nut and bolt of the generator hinge mount (Fig. 7.18).
Then lift the radiator and remove the generator assembly.
