2. Before using the dipstick, wipe off all dirt from the areas around it.
3. With the gear shift lever in place and the parking brake on, start the engine.
4. The engine should idle.
- The liquid must have an operating temperature of 70-80°C.
5. Move the gearshift lever to each position to fill the torque converter and hydraulic system with fluid, then return the lever to the neutral position "N". This preparatory work is necessary to ensure that the fluid level is checked accurately.
6. Make sure the level is at the "HOT" (hot) section on the gauge. If the fluid is lower, add fluid until the level reaches the "HOT" section.
