Checking oil pressure (Hyundai Sonata Y3)

1. Warm up the automatic transmission.

2. Raise the front of the vehicle so that the front wheels can turn.

3. Connect the tachometer to the engine, placing it where it is easily visible.

4. Connect a pressure gauge to measure oil pressure (09452-21500) and an adapter (09452-2100 or 09452-21002) to each of the outlet ports for measuring oil pressure. When the reverse pressure is to be measured, a 300 kPa pressure gauge should be used.

5. Measure the oil pressure under different conditions, compare the results with the standard values from the table.
