2. Turn off the engine.
Note. If the vehicle has not been driven for a long time, before checking the engine oil level, let it run for a few minutes, then turn off the engine and wait a few minutes.
3. Verify that the engine oil level is within the range indicated on the dipstick. If the oil level drops below the mark «minimum», add oil to the engine.
Warning. When topping up the oil, use the same type of oil that the engine is filled with.
4. Check that the oil is free from significant contamination, is not mixed with coolant or gasoline, and is of the correct viscosity.
