Removal



1. Loosen the brake line mounting bolt.

2. Loosen the disc brake caliper mounting bolts and then remove the caliper.

3. Remove the brake disc.

4. Loosen the wheel bearing nut and remove the hub assembly.

5. Pull out the parking brake cable.

6. Unscrew the ABS speed sensor mounting bolt and remove the sensor itself (for vehicles equipped with ABS).

7. Remove the support disk.

8. Unscrew the nut securing the lower rod ball joint. Using a special tool, disconnect the ball joint and the trunnion.

Warning: When using the special tool, do not remove the ball joint mounting nut, only loosen it.

9. Remove the stabilizer bar link.

10. Loosen the nut securing the ball joint of the upper suspension rod.



11. Loosen the auxiliary lever hinge mounting nut.

12. Loosen the bolt and nut securing the push longitudinal arm and then remove this arm.

Examination



1. Check the longitudinal push lever for cracks and deformations.

2. Check the bushing for cracks, wear and other defects.
