
Removal
1. Remove the rear wheel speed sensor (for vehicles with ABS).
2. Remove the bracket assembly and then hang it up.
3. Remove the brake disc.
4. Remove the hub cap, wheel bearing nut and washer with tab.
5. Remove the rear wheel hub assembly.

Warning 1. Do not disassemble the hub bearing.
Warning 2 (for ABS vehicles): All measures must be taken to avoid any damage to the rotor teeth.
Examination
1. Check the oil seal for cracks or defects.
2. Check the rear hub bearing for wear and other defects.
3. Check the rotor teeth for chipping.
Installation
1. After tightening the wheel bearing nut, the protrusion on the nut should match the recess on the wheel axle.

2. When installing the rear wheel speed sensor (for vehicles with ABS), there must be a gap between the sensor tip and the toothed surface of the rotor. Tighten the sensor to a position where the gap in any place is within the normal range.
