
Disassembly
1. Before loosening the piston rod mounting nut, compress the coil spring using a special tool.
Warning: Do not use air tools to tighten the bolt.

2. While holding the piston rod, tighten the rod nut.
Examination
1. Check the rubber parts for defects.
2. Check the coil spring for damage.
Assembly
1. Compress the coil spring with the special tool and insert it into the shock absorber.
2. Align the end of the coil spring with the shock absorber spring seat as shown in the figure.

3. As shown in the figure, attach the dust cover to the cover assembly.

4. When placing the bracket as shown in the figure, tighten the nut to the required torque.
