Checking and adjusting the automatic transmission control cable and start inhibit switch
1. Check the compliance of the gears to be engaged with each position of the automatic transmission selector and the correct operation of the gearbox in each of the ranges. Make adjustments if necessary.
2. Set the automatic transmission selector to position "N".
3. Loosen the adjusting nut securing the automatic transmission control cable to the start inhibit switch lever.
4. Place the hand lever in neutral position ("N").
5. Loosen the bolts securing the start inhibit switch and turn it until the holes in the switch and in the start inhibit switch lever are aligned (section "A-A" on the image).

6. Without changing the position of the start inhibit switch, tighten the mounting bolts.
- Tightening torque: 10-12 Nm
7. Lightly tighten the automatic transmission control cable in the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure, and tighten the adjusting nut.

8. Make sure that the automatic transmission selector lever is in position "N".
9. Check the compliance of the included gears with each position of the automatic transmission selector and the correct operation of the gearbox in each of the ranges.
