Air filter assembly.
1 - air intake hose, 2 - air filter assembly, 3 - mass air flow sensor (2.7 l engine), 4 - air intake duct, 5 - resonator, 6 - air filter cover, 7 - filter element, 8 - air filter housing.
Removal and installation
1. (2.1L Engine) Disconnect the air flow sensor connector.
2. Disconnect the air intake hose and duct from the air cleaner.
Engines 2.0 l / 2.4 l. |
Engine 2.7 l. |
3. Unscrew the three bolts securing the air filter housing.
4. Remove the air filter.
5. (2.7L Engine) Remove the air flow sensor from the air intake hose.
6. Install the air filter assembly in the reverse order of removal.
Examination
1. Check the air intake hose, housing and air filter cover for damage.
2. Check the air intake duct for damage.
3. Check the air filter element.
