Replacing the oil filter (Hyundai Getz 1)

0
All Hyundai engines are equipped with a high-quality, disposable oil filter. This filter is recommended as a replacement filter on all vehicles. Only high-quality filters should be used to ensure proper engine operation. When replacing the filter, make sure that the rubber gasket from the old oil filter is completely removed from the mating surface of the cylinder block.

Caution: When changing engine oil, be careful because the oil is hot and can cause burns.

1. Use a special key to unscrew the oil filter.

2. Lubricate the rubber sealing ring of the new oil filter with a thin layer of clean engine oil.

2. Lubricate the rubber sealing ring of…

Tightening torque: 12–16 Nm

4. Start the engine and check for oil leaks.

5. After stopping the engine, check the oil level and, if necessary, top it up to normal.
