Charging the system with liquid refrigerant (Hyundai Getz 1)

0
Note: The air conditioning system must be charged with refrigerant in liquid state through the high pressure side. When the container is upside down, the refrigerant enters the system in liquid state.

Caution! It is prohibited to charge the system through the high-pressure side when the engine is running. Do not open the low-pressure valve when charging with refrigerant in a liquid state.

1. After evacuating atmospheric air from the air conditioning system, close the high and low pressure valves.

2. Connect the release valve to the refrigerant cylinder.

3. Open the high pressure valve fully with the refrigerant cylinder upside down.

4. Charge the system with the required amount of refrigerant, determining its mass using a scale. Excessive charging will result in excess discharge pressure in the high-pressure circuit. When charging is complete, close the high-pressure valve.

Amount of refrigerant: 500±25g

5. After charging the system with the required amount of refrigerant, close the control pressure gauge valve.

6. Use a leak detector to check for leaks in the air conditioning system.

Note: It is recommended to check the operation of the air conditioning system before removing the test pressure gauges.
