Removal
1. Disconnect the two drive cables from the heater and one drive cable from the fan housing.
Heater control unit: 1 - panel overlay; 2 - control panel; 3 - transmission housing; 4 - air flow distribution flap drive gear; 5 - lock washer; 6 - temperature control flap drive gear; 7 - temperature control flap drive gear; 8 - rotary handle; 9 - rotary fan speed switch; 10 - base of the air flow mixing flap; 11 - air flow distribution flap drive lever; 12 - retainer; 13 - spring; 14 - locking pin; 15 - reflector; 16 - air flow distribution flap drive cable; 17 - Temperature control flap drive cable; 18 - air flow distribution flap drive cable; 19 - Cable fastening clamp; 20 - Fan switch; 21 - Rear window defroster switch; 22 - Air conditioning switch; 23 - windshield defroster switch; 24 - overlay; 25 - self-tapping screw; 26 - self-tapping screw.
