Removal



1. Remove the receiver.

2. Remove the high pressure fuel hose.

Caution: Before disconnecting the high-pressure hose, it is necessary to relieve the internal fuel pressure in it (see section "Replacing the fuel filter").


3. Disconnect the fuel return hose.

4. Remove the fuel distribution pipe together with the fuel injector.

Examination



5. Check the intake manifold for damage or cracks.

Installation



6. Install the intake manifold gasket with the adhesive coated side facing up toward the manifold.

7. Install the new damper element onto the intake manifold.

8. When installing the distribution pipeline in place, eliminate the possibility of the injectors falling out.
