The edge of the door and the edge of the body must be parallel to each other.
Attention: Stick the adhesive tape on the surface of the edge of the fender of the car around the location of the door hinge.
Door lock latch adjustment
Make sure the door is not loose (closing density), then check that the door closes securely without the lock popping.
If necessary, adjust the door as follows:
- A) Draw a line around the perimeter of the lock latch plate (reference mark when adjusting).
- b) Loosen the fixing screws of the latch and by moving the latch left and right (outside-inside the car), make the door lock tighter or looser. Moving the lock up and down, align it with the corresponding hole in the lock. Lightly tighten the retainer mounting screws, then recheck.
Note: While holding the outside door handle in the open position, push the door towards the body and check that the latch of the lock allows the door to close flush with the surface of the body.
