In the event of a tire puncture while driving:
1. Take your foot off the accelerator pedal and slow down while driving in a straight line. Do not immediately depress the brake pedal or attempt to pull off the road immediately as this could cause you to lose control of your vehicle. When the vehicle slows down to a safe speed, brake gently and pull off the road. Drive as far away from the road as possible and stop the vehicle on a level, hard surface. If you are on a highway, do not stop between oncoming lanes.
2. After stopping the car, turn on the alarm, apply the parking brake and move the selector to the position "R" ("Parking") (Automatic transmission) or shift lever to reverse gear position (Manual Transmission).
3. Ask all passengers to get out of the car. It is desirable that they get out of the car from the opposite side of the road.
4. Replace the wheel following the instructions on subsequent pages.
