Module Check
If the inspection reveals any defective part, replace the airbag module with a new one.
The old airbag is subject to detonation according to a special procedure.
Attention! Never try to measure the ignition resistance of a pillow, even with a special tester: the pillow may suddenly explode, which will lead to an accident.
Check cushion module pad (potholes, cracks, deformation).
Check airbag module housing (potholes, cracks, deformation).
Check connector status (deformation of contacts, clamps, twisting of wires).
Check the airbag module (potholes, cracks, deformation).
Mount the cushion module to the steering wheel to check the relative position of the cushion and the steering wheel.
Checking the clock spring
If the inspection reveals any defective part, replace the clock spring with a new one.
Check connector status (deformation of contacts, clamps) and protective tube.
