Removal



Remove the clutch hub and pulley.

Install a shaft protection device into the compressor bore.

Install the pulley on the compressor shaft. Install the end of the puller bolt into the concave central part of the shaft protection device, insert the puller jaws under the winding collar.

Press the winding by rotating the puller bolt (Fig. 8.75).

Installation



Clean the seating surface of the winding sleeve.

Place the compressor in a vertical position and install the winding on the front head of the compressor.

Check the correct position of the coupling winding connector.

Place the compression tool on the compressor nose and in the center of the winding.

Install two 8-inch grippers on the compressor and compression device. The gripper legs must be deeply inserted behind the front seat of the compressor, and the bolt must be located in the center of the compression device.

Using a wrench to turn the bolt, press the winding securely onto the front head of the compressor (Fig. 8.76).

Install the clutch pulley and hub onto the compressor.
