- Minimum tread depth: 1.6 mm
2. Check the wheel runout.
- a) Raise the wheels of one of the vehicle's axles and install safety stands under the vehicle.
- b) Measure the wheel runout using a dial indicator as shown in the figure.
Permissible wheel runout:
- with steel disks:
- radial: 0.6 mm
- axial: 1.0 mm
- with aluminum wheels:
- radial: 0.3 mm
- axial: 0.3 m
If its runout exceeds the permissible value, replace the wheel.
